Space Wolves Update #2

Well that was another tough week of frantic late night painting, well worth it though.
I've now completed the scouts and painted the base edges of the long fangs ready for snow flocking.
I also squeezed in 6 objective markers too, these have been sitting in my dice box for a few years so its nice to finish them off at last.

The next two models I've been waiting an age to paint..... Thunderwolves!
After those it's two Razorback in need of finishing and il be done!!

Anyways here's some pics:

  1. Hi David, greetings from Germany!

I´m searching for a nice colour scheme for my Space Wolves army and I’ve seen your very good locking figures. So I want to ask you if you can tell me how do you painted your new colour scheme? Which paints do you used an so on^^

I´ve tried a little bit by my own, but I’m not very happy with it. I would be very pleased if you can tell me (us) in your new update, which comes soon I hope.^^ You don´t have to do much work for it, I would be satisfied if you only tell which colors’ in which step you used.

At least i want to excuse me if my English is not very good or bad to read.

    With nice greetings,

    Christopher

  2. Thank you for your interest in my models, and I'm glad I've inspired you to try something new!
Unfortunately my space wolf grey is mixed from Two old foundation paints
It's a mix of Fenris grey and Astronomicon grey.
The red is GW Khorne red and the bone is Karak stone.
Everything is washed Agrax Earthshade and built up to the lighter colours from there.
Once I have setup my workshop again I will write a tutorial on what I do for people to use.

    Many thanks
